Overview

New Bala Ji, Varanasi is a 2-star beachfront property established in 2024, located near the iconic Assi Ghat. Its strategic location offers a perfect balance—just a 20-minute drive from the main market—making it ideal for both leisure and business travellers.

With consistently strong demand and over 65% occupancy throughout the year, the property has built a solid reputation. The group also operates another 2-star hotel in Varanasi, one of India’s most visited spiritual destinations.

The Challenge
Despite maintaining over 65% occupancy year-round, the property lacked a structured pricing strategy. This made it difficult to optimize room rates, improve ADR, and respond effectively to changing market demand—resulting in missed revenue opportunities.

The Solution
In mid-2026, the hotel partnered with VOT Hospitality to implement AI-driven dynamic pricing. Rates were continuously benchmarked against competitors and adjusted in real-time based on demand, seasonality, and booking trends.
